Welcome to Orbus Empowered Women's Chapter
Real Connections, Strong Communities
The Empowered Women's Chapter forms a community of inspired, motivated, and talented entrepreneurs that seek to build lasting relationships and grow their careers and businesses.

The Chapter aims to create a space to share ideas, successes, challenges, so that members can help each other in leveraging the numerous opportunities available for them.

As an Orbus Business Networks Chapter, the Empowered Women members pride themselves on their commitment to giving back to its communities, growing the presence of women entrepreneurship in Canada, and adapting to the continuously-evolving roles that women play in society. We welcome those from all steps of their journey, whether that be in the start-up phase of their business, or the expansion phase. Mutual support and learning is always encouraged and nurtured within the Chapter!
ABOUT ORBUS
ORBUS: derived from "Orb" (which means sphere or circle) and "Business". Orbus is the literal representation of "Sphere of Business". It is pronounced 'Or-bis'.
While Orbus Chapters are business networking, referrals and leads clubs, they are also much more. Orbus members are firstly entrepreneurs, but also people who support their community and are socially responsible. You will be part of a group of community-minded businesses who “give back,” and who part in building a better community. These businesses are forward-thinking and accept the responsibility for growing a better future for their communities. They know that healthier communities lead to healthier businesses. Orbus programs are available to put them front and centre in helping their community.
OUR VISION
" At Orbus, we believe that healthy communities grow healthy businesses and healthy businesses grow healthy communities. That is why we believe in building better communities for the future. Every time our members give back to their communities we know the future of our communities and businesses just got better. Orbus businesses know that together business and community can help build better communities for a sustainable future."
